A figure sat in a Navigator's chair; he glanced at a large screen just above him, than tapped a few times on a screen near his left hand. He reached up and grabbed the corner of the large, hanging display and pulled it down, centering it in front of himself, and tracing his finger across it. He pushed it forward a little ways and tapped a few more times on the left-hand screen.
"Have you tried opening the main hanger doors?" asked a voice from behind him.
"Yeah, but whatever systems are aboard are not responsive, or are locked. There's no way we're going to get in there, through the main hanger. But you might try one of the docking ports," the person in the chair replied.
"I mean, are you sure? Because the scans indicate that the reactor is still running, and there is computer activity. Well, there is radio activity, but on some odd signals – and it wouldn't be broadcasting unless it had power."
"But if it still has power, wouldn't it still have defenses?"
"No," the other guy replied,
